A diverter valve, sometimes know as a changeover valve, is a valve which can be used to divert the flow of the process media from one source to multiple sources or vice versa. A diverter valve can help eliminate the use of tees and isolation valves by creating an all in one piece. Common uses of diverter valves are to switch from system of control valves, relief valves and pumps to another as the end-user see fit. A diverter valve also allows for the switching of which line is active to allow for ease of maintenance without having to shut a processing unit completely down. Total Valve Systems manufacturers a few offerings of changeover valves, to schedule a brief presentation that can be held at our location or via a Webinar, please contact us at sales@totalvalve.com.
